The themes of this residency are re-invention and re-imagining. This residency, and subsequent ones in the series, have been devised as a means to progress ideas inaugurated in previous projects, both those related to the artist’s personal practice, and those which have emerged through the ArtFunkl programme.

ArtFunkl is looking for artists who are sensitive to the psychological and physical regenerative powers of the new year cycle, and willing to become part of the means to create energy during the come-down which follows a period of holiday and repose.

You will:
Have space and time to work on your own project.
Show your work during the final week of the residency
Be involved in devising and constructing the exhibition space for your show
Be actively involved in making contacts and promoting the exhibition.
Have the opportunity to host gatherings or social events at the venue.
Room Fees:
Room 1: £375 pcm
Room 2: £325 pcm

10 examples of your work (or links to work online if you work with digital media).
A paragraph about yourself, a personal description (around 50 – 100 words).
An Artist’s Statement describing the main points of focus of you work and your artistic misson (no more than one A4 sheet).
A brief outline of the work you propose to carry out while at Art Funkl (no more than one A4 sheet)
A link to your own website or any public site where your work is posted.
