DESCRIPTION:
The residency program provides professional artists, scholars and curators access to facilities for the development and/or presentation of research and artistic works. Research residents contribute to the academic program and SCA research community through interaction with staff and students. The college provides studio facilities on a daily basis to artists, curators and scholars in exchange for their contribution to the academic program through specialised workshops, tutorials and lectures.
Studio Information: Studio facilities depending on artist's project and requirements separate from accommodation.
Paid by host: Studio space and accommodation. In return, the resident artist is expected to give workshops and/or presentations.
Location: Sydney College of the Arts is of one Australia's principal art academies, located within extensive grounds with historic buildings near the water and close to transport and the city centre.
Duration: Up to 1 month.
