Residency Application - Open Call

Application deadline: March 15

La Napoule Art Foundation offers Artists-In-Residence a unique environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and creativity at the Château de La Napoule (located in the historic seaside town of Mandelieu-La Napoule on the French Riviera).

The La Napoule Art Foundation seeks applications at two levels:
a) artists of national or international distinction, with well-established reputations, for whom a change of scenery might offer fresh inspiration;
b) emerging artists with a record of solid achievement and potential, for whom an appointment as a Resident Artist might contribute to professional advancement.

The residency length is 4-6 weeks and is open to US artists and non-US artists.

*SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT*
LNAF will hold a special residency to assist artists impacted by Hurricane Sandy. This program will bring together artists with diverse experiences of a shared event for reflection, exchange, and creation. The storm impacted artists in a variety of ways. For many, Sandy created a financial burden from damaged studios, homes, materials, or artwork. For others, however, the effects of the storm were less tangible. This residency offers artists renewed inspiration after disruption to the creative process, or simply a place to process what they witnessed during the storm. Artists will receive housing, studio space, most meals, and a $1,000 stipend. For more information or to apply, visit www.lnaf.org/residencies/upcoming-deadlines.
