Call for Applications

The Rotterdam-based visiting artist is requested to stay in Dresden between May and July 2012. The artist is obliged to stay in Dresden throughout the residency.

The Dresden-based visiting artist is requested to stay in Rotterdam between September and November 2012. The artist is obliged to stay in Rotterdam throughout the residency.
The exact dates will be determined in agreement with the Goethe-Institut.
The programme is open to professional visual artists who have completed their studies or a comparable vocational training.

Disciplines: Drawing & Painting, Media Art, Multi Media, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture
Language: German / Dutch / English
Duration: 2 months

Paid by host:
The residency includes free accommodation at a spacious apartment and a monthly stipend of 1500,- € for living expenses and materials. In addition, a return train or flight ticket is refunded.

Applications must consist of:
a motivation letter
a curriculum vitae
a statement about the project the artist wishes to pursue during his or her residency (ca. 1-2 pages)
documentation of current or recent work.
