DESCRIPTION:
AIR Taipei consists of two sites, Taipei Artists Village (TAV) and Grass Mountain Artist Village (GAV).

TAV is a four story building located in the heart of Taipei's vibrant Governmental District. Secluded by a serene garden, this facility (a former public office building for the Maintenance Engineering Public Works Bureau of Taipei City Government), brings new life into this thriving area. Since the establishment of TAV, the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Taipei has actively launched exchange programs with other international artist residencies in different cities across the globe.

FELLOWSHIP AVAILABLE:
1) AIR Taipei International Artist Residence
• Selected artists will be provided with free accommodation and studio for 4 to 8 weeks.
2) Special Project: Sisters Cities of Taipei
• Selected artists will be provided with free accommodation and studio for 4 to 8 weeks.
• Selected artists will be provided with 1 round trip economic flight ticket.
3) Special Project: New Immigrants Taiwan
• Selected artists will be provided with free accommodation and studio for 4 to 8 weeks.
• Selected artists will be provided with 1 round trip economic flight ticket.

ELIGIBILITY:
• Applicants from the Republic of China (Taiwan) are NOT eligible to apply fo any of the 3 fellowships.
• For Fellowships: no limitation for nationalities except from the Republic of China (Taiwan).
• Applicants for Sister City Fellowships: Please see TAV website for more information.
• Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience or professional practice. Students are not eligible to apply.
• Must be able to converse in English.
