The Dorothea Fleiss East-West Artists program announces its 10th Annual East-West Artists' Symposia, which will take place August 2-9 in Carei, Romania. Wishing to contribute to the opening-up of the French art
scene to professionals from abroad, La Galerie, a
Contemporary Art Centre located in the suburbs of
Paris,each year hosts a foreign curator in residence for
a period of three months.First organised in 2006, the
residency's aim is to create an exhibition at La Galerie
within the context of a French art centre, and to meet
artists and professionals working in contemporary art in
France.

Shanghai's Zendai MoMA seeking Proposals for Intrude

Intrude: Art & Life 366
Shanghai's Zendai Museum of Modern Art is seeking proposals from artists for Intrude: Art & Life 366, 366 days of public art interventions. The interventions can take the form of an installation, dance, music, internet piece, sound work, etc. The idea is that the pieces should be shown/take place in a public venue as a way to re-think art and everyday life. All the projects will be documented and each month the museum also will produce a catalog of that month's projects.
